"The Occurance at Owl Creek Bridge."

I liked the story, It makes you think about how strongly someone can deceive themselves or block out bad things. Everyone has a "happy place" but who really shuts down and goes to it? The power of the human brain can really surprise people. The Civil War had many casualties and quite a few were from people encroaching on territory that soldiers were occupying.
